Fostering Reason, Ethics and Civic Values
HAGSA now has two publications: Human Interest and the HAGSA Bulletin. Human Interest was formerly characterized as “the monthly newsletter of the Humanist Association of the Greater Sacramento Area.” It is now characterized as being “published quarterly by. . . .”
The HAGSA Bulletin is the new monthly publication. It contains notices of coming HAGSA meetings and other local events, a contact list of “functionaries,” meeting reports, and letters from HAGSA members and friends to newspapers or to HAGSA.
The reduced frequency of Human Interest (from ten to four issues per year) and the much smaller number of pages in the HAGSA Bulletin mean that considerably less effort will be required for both than has, up to now, been required for Human Interest alone.
Members without email addresses automatically receive the printed edition of both publications. For each issue, those with email addresses are provided, via email, with a link to the current electronic edition. On request, they may also receive the printed edition.
Issues of each publication, including the current one, may be retrieved by selecting from one of the drop-down lists, below.
Selecting an issue date will open the corresponding HAGSA Bulletin in a new window. (Note that they are in reverse chronological order.) Once you have opened an issue, clicking on the disk icon on the Adobe® Reader menu will allow you to save it to disk.

We also send a notice of the availability of the latest issue of the electronic edition of Human Interest to all AHA Chapters and Affiliates, plus Humanist Celebrants and Counselors who have an email address.
